This directory contains multiplicative corrections that transform the beam (B_ell) from the CMB spectrum to a different spectrum. The corrections are defined s.t. you multiply the CMB beam by the correction to get the new beam. When applied to power spectra, divide by the correction squared. E.g.:

B_ell^CIB = correction^CIB * B_ell^CMB.

Spectra
-------

We provide corrections for three spectra:
* non-relativistic tSZ (tsz.npz)
* CIB (cib.npz): a modified blackbody with beta=1.8 and T=25 K
* synchrotron (rg.npz): a power law with alpha=-0.7

Calculation Details
-------------------

These corrections were calculated using the physical model, with the rc4 CMB beam as the starting point. The rc4 CMB beam was transformed from the native AGN beam using the Gaussian approximation, so there is already an inconsistency built in to these products.

The physical model weights single-frequency beams by the total power received at that frequency (including geometric effects and the bandpass).

To start, we calculate the model for the CMB beam, and subtract it from the rc4 beam to get the sidelobes. We assume the sidelobes are fixed with frequency. We then calculate the model beam for the target spectrum, and add the sidelobes back in. The products stored in this directory are the ratio of the beam for the target spectrum to the CMB beam.
