Overview

This page provides data products associated with the SPT-3G instrument paper "The Design and Integrated Performance of SPT-3G", Sobrin et al., ApJS 258 42 (2022), arXiv:2106.11202.

If you have any questions regarding this data set or its use please contact Joshua Sobrin (jsobrin_at_fnal.gov).

Instrument Bandpasses

These files contain the measured instrument bandpasses (response as a function of frequency of light) for the three SPT-3G bands (with nominal centers at 95, 150, and 220 GHz). These are averages over all detectors in a frequency band, as measured by a Fourier Transform Spectrometer illuminated by a thermal source. The bands are stored in "response-like" (as opposed to "transmission-like") format; i.e., they contain the factor of etendue or A*Omega (see, e.g., Section 3.2 of the Planck HFI spectral response paper, A&A 571, A9, 2014). Each file contains two columns: Frequency (in GHz) and Normalized Response (in arbitrary units, normalized to peak at unity).
